More about our Pipeline Team

We are part of the infrastructure team, and operate "the engine room" for the company. Our tools, platforms, automation, and more are a significant part of helping each software developer have an impact every day. Our work features pragmatic choices between building vs. buying vs. reusing/modify (open source) to create effective solutions. Our priority is to keep systems online, secure, and make development delightful.

What we're looking for

We are looking for a Systems Engineer for our Pipeline team. Reporting to the Engineering Manager of the Pipeline team, you will be part of the cross functional team who supports all of engineering. In this role, you will build and maintain the tools and automation that turns source code into highly available and highly secure systems that provide value to our customers. We're looking for someone passionate about good systems development, healthy tech teams, and continuous learning to help set the stage for the next decade of our company's growth.

You will

  • Design, develop, and maintain crucial CI/CD infrastructure
  • Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure for test automation
  • Be proficient with these systems, as well as AWS cloud infrastructure

You have

  • Passion for helping developers be more productive.
  • Passion for guiding more junior engineers.
  • Comfortable working transparently, and championing accountability.
  • Collaborating with other pipeline team members, and developers to reduce friction for development, and continually improve the way we work.

These are not all strict requirements, however, key experiences such as these will help indicate if you will thrive in this role. Growth is important to us, and we want you primed for success.   • A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience as an systems engineer, devops, QA, or equivalent role
  • 4+ years experience with AWS offerings - e.g. EKS, S3, EC2, Codebuild, Device Farm.
  • Experience with Artifactory, Teamcity, and Jenkins
