DIVERSITY, EQUITY AND INCLUSION
Our commitment to help shape a better world
DEI is a business imperative
As we evolve our internal culture at Momentive and make progress with our vision to raise the bar for human experiences, diversity, equity and inclusion remain at the forefront of our minds.
We’ve long known that diverse companies have access to a wealth of different perspectives that fuel better decisions. It’s clear by now that equitable employers empower more creative and innovative people than the systems of the status quo. Inclusive cultures are healthy, enduring and productive.
Today, building a workplace where everyone feels a sense of belonging and is treated fairly is table stakes. We believe that companies must take a stand – we must all take action using our resources and voices to help shape a better world.
At Momentive, we believe that reaching our DEI goals is just as important as meeting our financial goals. We believe that it’s a business imperative. In fact, we believe that we have a responsibility to each other to create a more diverse, inclusive and equitable world for all of us.
Global representation goals
Our representation goals reflect our belief that diverse representation positively impacts our business. Our work promoting it will never truly be done.
2021 global representation numbers
Our current representation numbers are a snapshot of who we are today, with plenty of room to grow.
Diversity, equity, and inclusion aren’t just words we use. They are a filter by which we operate our teams and our business, and—most importantly—how we deliver social impact.

Where we put our values into action
Our culture
Momentive must be a place where people of all backgrounds can do the best work of their lives. We aim to be tech’s most inclusive workplace – and our work will never be done.
Our solutions
Our products deliver an elusive business metric: human sentiment. Our DEI solutions allow any organisation to turn good intentions into measurable business outcomes.
Our community
To help drive sustainable change, we believe that we must flex our influence. We take a stand on public policy issues that impact our communities and support nonprofits that align with our values.
Meet our employee resource groups
Our employee resource groups help us build community across the globe. These groups are voluntary and employee-led and revolve around a shared interest or common goal, to which individuals at Momentive formally or informally belong.

BUILD
BUILD (Blacks United in Leadership and Development) aims to promote the welfare and continued professional development of the black community at Momentive through community partnerships, leadership development and educational opportunities.

CARE
CARE (Community, Advocacy, Respite, Education) strives to strengthen the experiences of and create a sense of community for caregivers in the workplace by providing support and resources for employees balancing career and caregiving responsibilities.

Mosaic
Mosaic strives to strengthen the experiences and advancement of Asians and Pacific Islanders in the workplace through increasing awareness of our diverse and multicultural community, fostering connections and promoting professional development.

The Queerious
This group aims to create an accepting and inclusive environment that serves the needs and interests of all Momentive employees and the surrounding communities regardless of gender identity and sexual orientation.

Unidos
Unidos’ mission is to unite Latinx/a/o employees, celebrate our diverse cultural backgrounds while supporting each other in our professional journey and educate the larger team about key topics facing our community.

WIN
WIN’s (Women IN Momentive) goal is to strengthen women in the workplace through educational programmes, partnerships and events that provide information, connections, resources and opportunities.

Womxn in Engineering
This group works to cultivate an inclusive environment that attracts, retains and encourages female engineers, and supports womxn in engineering through recruiting and mentorship.
Diversity, inclusion and impact groups around the world
We have dedicated diversity, inclusion and impact groups (DIIGs) in various offices that drive locally relevant events, programming and training to foster an inclusive work environment in their office and the local community.
